MCD to designate feeding spots for stray dogs

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has instructed its veterinary teams across all zones to identify designated feeding spots for stray dogs, following a Supreme Court directive issued last month.
In a circular issued on Wednesday, MCD asked officials to collaborate with area councillors and Residents' Welfare Associations (RWAs) to earmark feeding points in every municipal ward. The geo-locations and addresses of these sites will be compiled and submitted to the commissioner's office for presentation before the Supreme Court.
