Union Minister Piyush Goyal announced the launch of "Bharat Tex 2024 Expo," a mega textile event that seeks to establish India as a global textiles powerhouse. The expo, scheduled for February 26-29, 2024, is designed to be the largest textile fair in the world in terms of exhibition area, showcasing India's capabilities as a reliable supplier of textile products across the entire value chain.
The event will take place at the newly inaugurated Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi complexes. Goyal expressed confidence that this expo will position India as a true global leader in the textiles sector and bring recognition to its capabilities and strengths.
