The fourth quarter of 2023 stood out as the highlight of the year, accounting for nearly 40% of the total listings in 2023

Indian stock exchanges, including the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE), have emerged as frontrunners in the global Initial Public Offering (IPO) landscape for the year 2023, according to a report by EY India, a prominent global professional services organization.
In the fourth quarter of 2023, India's primary markets, represented by BSE and NSE, witnessed a surge in IPO activity with 31 IPOs (including one InvIT) recorded. This marked a remarkable 72% increase compared to the same period in 2022 and a substantial 41% rise over the third quarter of 2023.
