|June 14, 2025
Ramavtar Meena, the District Collector of Jhunjhunu—renowned as the land of heroes—has emerged from a humble background to reach this prestigious position.
Witnessing his family's struggles firsthand, he is deeply committed to ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach the most marginalized sections of society. Known for his commendable work in previous assignments, Meena has consistently demonstrated dedication to public service. His proven track record led the government to entrust him with the responsibility of a significant district like Jhunjhunu, where he continues to work with integrity and purpose.
The government has placed special emphasis on the development of Jhunjhunu district. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has extended a major gift to the region through the Yamuna Water Agreement. In April, CM Sharma spent two days in Jhunjhunu, personally inspecting the Malsisar Dam and reviewing the progress of the project. He also met with senior Haryana officials to advance efforts to bring Yamuna water to the district. Aligning with the Chief Minister's vision, the district administration under Collector Ramavtar Meena is working diligently to meet the goals of key government schemes.
Jhunjhunu has made significant progress in the Twenty Point Program, Mukhyamantri Nari Shakti Udyam Protsahan Yojana, Jal Swavalamban Yojana, plantation campaigns, PM Gram Sadak Yojana, Maa Yojana, Rajivika, and the Karmabhoomi to Matribhoomi Abhiyan, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainable development and inclusive growth.
