G20 SUMMIT: GATES OF THESE STATIONS, INCLUDING SC METRO, WILL BE CLOSED FROM SEP 8-10

The Delhi Police metro unit has recently asked the Chief Security Commissioner to close some metro station gates that open towards the VVIPS Route in order to maintain foolproof security arrangements during the G20 Summit to be held in Delhi from September 9-10.

In a letter, DCP Metro, Mr. J. Ram Gopal Naik, has designated Supreme Court, Janpath, Bhikaji Cama Place, Khan Market, and Dhaula Kuan as "sensitive" stations.
According to the letter, all gates of Supreme Court Metro Station will remain closed from September 8th to September 10th. Khan Market's gates 1, 2, and 3 will be closed while gate 4 will remain open for entry and exit.
The letter also specifies that gate number 2 of Kailash Colony Station will be closed, leaving gate number 5 open. At Janpath Station, which is marked as sensitive, only gate number 2 will be operational.
