FSSAI urges safe food for students

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has emphasized the need to ensure the safety of food served to students and has called upon state authorities to provide training to individuals handling food in canteens of hostels and universities.

During the 42nd Central Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, FSSAI CEO G Kamala Vardhana Rao stressed the importance of food safety and encouraged states and Union Territories to raise awareness on this crucial issue.
