BJP stages protest against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal regarding water shortage issue

On Thursday, BJP councillors in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) house raised protests against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal over the persistent water crisis gripping the capital city.

Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi accused the BJP councillors of disrupting the house proceedings, claiming that their focus diverted from essential topics such as monsoon preparations and drain cleaning.
BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri spearheaded the protest alongside party workers, highlighting the acute water shortage issue. Residents of Okhla Phase 2 and Kusumpur Pahari received some relief as water supply through tankers was dispatched to these areas.
However, local residents continued to report challenges with dirty tap water and inconsistent supply.
