Assam Minister Piyush Hazarika blames financial disputes for Bordoloi attack

Assam Minister Piyush Hazarika on Monday spoke about the recent attack on Congress leader Pradyut Bordoloi, stating that the attack appears to have arisen from personal disputes over financial dealings.
He also said that the attack is not linked to the BJP, as alleged by Congress MP Pradyut Bordoloi. He further stated that the area where the incident occurred is predominantly a stronghold of the Congress party.
Taking to social media, X, Piyush Hazarika wrote, "Preliminary reports indicate that the unfortunate attack on Hon'ble MP Shri Pradyut Bordoloi appears to have arisen from personal disputes over financial dealings with no links whatsoever to the BJP as alleged by the Hon'ble MP. The area where the incident occurred is predominantly a Congress stronghold, and attempts to blame the BJP are not only baseless but deeply irresponsible."
