State government puts emergency services on 24x7 alert amid rains
Jharkhand has recorded 712.2 mm of rainfall from June 1 to July 26—an excess of 261.3 mm above the normal average of 455.9 mm. According to official data, East Singhbhum has experienced the highest deviation, with 134% more rainfall than average, followed by Ranchi, which recorded a 104% increase.
