Snatcher nabbed after viral underpass attack in Manila

A third-year college student fell victim to a violent snatching incident at the Lawton underpass on his way home to Quezon City—but swift action by authorities led to the arrest of the suspect, who had posed as a beggar asking for spare change.

The suspect, later identified as Bryan Capillos, alias “Tanda Bakla,” was presented to the media at Manila City Hall by Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso.

According to reports, the victim, Mark Vincent, was walking through the underpass when Capillos approached him under the guise of begging for alms.
