Tandridge bucks property trend as only Surrey area with falling house prices

HOUSE prices are going up across Surrey, but one part of the county is defying the trend.

New data shows that Tandridge is the only area in Surrey where house prices have fallen over the past year, with the average home value dropping by 0.9%. This represents a £4,742 decrease.

As a result, it cost £500,196 to buy the average home in Tandridge in the 12 months to March. In contrast, all other Surrey districts and boroughs have seen property prices rise, with Mole Valley leading the way at a 7% increase.
