State-of-the-art diagnostic centre officially open

ROYAL Surrey's new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Milford Hospital was officially opened on Tuesday.

The state-of-the-art centre, which has been operational since the end of June, offers patients access to diagnostic tests closer to their homes, helping to identify illnesses such as heart disease and cancer at an earlier stage.
Equipped with two high-tech MRI scanners and the latest CT scanner, the centre provides a 'one-stop shop' for patients, offering an additional 11,000 MRI scans and 9,500 CT scans a year.
