Store thieves admit stealing £600 of goods

Partners in crime stole more than £600 of goods from three stores during a nine-week shoplifting spree, a court heard.

Jason Brown, 55, and Lindsey Klein, 46, of the same house in Litchfield Road, Carley Hill, targeted retailers Home Bargains, B&M and Tesco.

Between August 2 and October 8, they stole £351 of meat in three raids at Home Bargains' outlet in the city centre, Trimdon Street.

They also swiped £112 of washing tablets, meat and chocolate in two thefts from Tesco Express in Station Road, Fulwell, on August 2 and Wednesday, August 27.

And on Friday, October 10, they made off with £138 of coffee and butter from B&M at Pallion.
