Patricia's on the mend after test revealed tumours

A Washington grandma has told of her appreciation after an eye test led to the discovery of two tumours.
Patricia Flett and Specsavers Washington's Penny Ransom.
Patricia Flett attended the Washington Specsavers store, located within The Galleries Shopping Centre, for a routine test last year.
The 79-year-old grandmother has been a regular customer at the locally owned business for many years and was seen by optometrist Penny Ransom.
After examining Patricia, Penny noticed a bleed in the centre of the retina in her left eye and urgently referred the pensioner to Sunderland Eye Infirmary.
