Vitor's summer target to recruit hungry Wolves

VITOR Pereira cited hunger and a real desire to play for Wolves as the key characteristics he was looking for in new players this summer.

Wolves will conclude their Premier League campaign this afternoon with a home match against Brentford at Molineux.

Pereira has transformed the fortunes of the club since arriving in December, guiding Wolves well clear of the relegation zone and allowing them to set their sights comfortably on another season of top-flight football.

He revealed there was a lot of interest from potential new arrivals, saying: “It's important to bring players that want to come, that want to live in Wolverhampton, that want to play in the best league of the world and that are family players, with the character and with the personality to work in a simple, but beautiful city.

“The nature is beautiful and the competition, in my opinion, is the best in the world. It means that we must go for players that really want to come as much as me.

“A lot of players are trying to come because they want to play in the Premier League and players that have worked with me.
