TEACHER DISCUSSED WITH STUDENT WHAT SEX WOULD BE LIKE

AN experienced Midland teacher swapped messages with a student he called ‘babe’ - and even discussed what sex would be like when she found a partner.

Former headteacher Graham Coyle’s actions were found to be ‘sexually motivated’ to ‘seek sexual gratification’ from the student’

As a result, the former teacher at the independent Christian River School, in Worcester, has been banned from the classroom indefinitely.

Coyle had regular Facebook and Skype exchanges with the student between September 2009 and July 2014, the Teaching Regulation Agency’s professional conduct panel hearing found.

Messages - sent while the student was a pupil at the school and when she left - saw Coyle refer to her as ‘babe; ‘petal’ and ‘special’

He also discussed ‘what sex would be like’ for the student when she had a partner and ‘whether it was good’

‘There was no sexual contact between the pair, but Coyle did secretly meet with the student, referred to as Person A, outside of school and also purchased credit for her mobile phone.
