HYPNOTIST HELPS PEPSI ADDICT KICK HIS 14-A-DAY HABIT

|May 11, 2025
MIDLAND dad has kicked his £3,000-a-year fizzy drink habit after being hypnotised.
Dean Gavin downed 14 cans of Pepsi Max a day after switching from “full fat” Coke when he was diagnosed with diabetes.
But he turned to hypnotherapy after struggling to sleep and feeling “edgy and wired”.
The former farm worker, aged 52 and from Bedworth in Warwickshire, said: “I have always loved fizzy pop and used to drink full fat Coke but I had to stop because I was diagnosed with diabetes.
“I still wanted to have my fizzy pop fix so I switched to Pepsi Max because it was sugar free. I loved the taste and used to drink up to 14 cans a day.
“I'd have one can with my cup of tea in the morning and just sup more through the day. I don’t drink alcohol so when I went to the pub with friends I'd just have pints of Pepsi if it was on tap.
