PHILIPPE Coutinho believes his ill-fated Aston Villa career could finally come to an end in the next few days.

The Brazilian has been in claret and blue purgatory for the last three years, after excelling in a loan spell towards the end of the 2021/22 season and signing permanently in May 2022.

However, he has spent most of that four-year contract unless something can be worked out he remains on the Villa books until June 2026 out on loan.
