Wife murderer Fraser set for funeral day of freedom

WIFE killer Nat Fraser is expected to be released from jail this week for his mum's funeral, the Sunday Mail can reveal.

The murderer is serving a life sentence over the 1998 death of Arlene after being found guilty in 2003 and again in 2012 at a retrial.

The case gripped the country and was the subject of a TV documentary with Fraser having never disclosed what he did with her body.

The killer is expected to be escorted from West Lothian's HMP Addiewell to the funeral on Wednesday. The governor of the privately run jail took the decision.

A source said: "Fraser is being allowed to say goodbye to his mother but he has never told Arlene's family what he did with her so that they could say goodbye to her properly.
