Jersey was worn on Rangers' greatest night
THE jersey worn by Tommy McLean in Rangers' European Cup Winners Cup win in 1972 has set a new record for a Scottish football top at auction.
The royal blue shirt with long sleeves and the number 7 on the back was worn by McLean during the victory over Dynamo Moscow at the Camp Nou in Barcelona.
Rangers won 3-2 to claim their first and so far only major European trophy following two previous final defeats.
