THE Tartan Army's fear of missing out on gold-dust tickets for the World Cup is giving scammers “an open goal", it has been warned.
Scotland fans will flock to the US with an unprecedented demand for briefs to see Steve Clarke's boys take on Haiti, Morocco and Brazil.
Research from online protection firm McAfee says this could push hundreds of fans towards risky online ticket buying.
The company's Vonny Gamot said: "After a 28-year wait, the passion and excitement from Scottish fans is incredible but that's exactly what scammers are hoping to exploit.
