McGlynn backs his Bairns to hold their nerve as loss leaves door open to Livi

NO SEAN OF THE DREAD

JOHN MCGLYNN insists Falkirk aren't suffering title jitters after a late collapse against Raith.

Calvin Miller's goal looked like moving the Bairns a step closer to the prize. But, in the space of seven minutes late on, goals from Aiden Marsh, Paul Hanlon and a Dylan Easton penalty ensured the cut-throat battle for a place in the top flight goes on.

The shock-and-awe finish by Raith left Falkirk's lead at the top just three points.

And it offers a glimmer of hope to second-placed Livingston that the one-time runaway leaders can still be reined in with two games left.

But boss McGlynn is adamant nerves were not a factor, with Sean Mackie's dismissal to blame.

He said: "It looks like it could go down to the wire but the players will hold their nerve I have confidence in that. Until the sending off we were comfortable with Calvin scoring a good goal.

"Then Mackie gets himself foolishly sent off and it changed the game.
