JENS BERTHEL ASKOU insists Motherwell were just one clinical moment away from claiming a win over Hearts.

The Fir Park boss believes his side had enough opportunities to claim all of the spoils in a fixture that brought in an attendance of 10,939 - the biggest crowd at Fir Park for 22 years.

Askou was delighted with the display of his side who remain a work in progress.

He said: "You have to accept that we didn't take our moments. We need to make sure we do that next time we play.

"We defended extremely well and pushed and tried to create chances for ourselves.
