Lewis tips Traitors winner for host job

- BY NIKKI ONAFUYE

STRICTLY Come Dancing star Lewis Cope backs Alan Carr to get the presenter gig.

With Tess Daly, 56, and Claudia Winkleman, 53, stepping away, speculation over their replacements is already swirling.

Industry sources have Carr in top spot after his victory in BBC1 juggernaut Traitors.

Emmerdale hunk Lewis, 30, says: "I think Alan would be brilliant. He's funny, people love him, and he's really current. Why not?

"He'd be hilarious with the judges - he'd probably go, 'I don't know what you're talking about, but you were brilliant!'"

His dance partner Katya Jones, 36, agrees Carr, 49, would make great TV, but reckons Jeannette Manrara would make an amazing host.

"She knows the dancing, she knows what we go through. Shed bring real heart," she says.
