EMILY in Paris star Lily Collins wants Edinburgh to be the setting of a new series of the hit Netflix show.

The actress plays aspiring US marketing executive Emily Cooper who moves to France to join a new firm while wowing fashion fans with her onscreen outfits over four seasons.

With the latest instalment of the romantic comedy to hit screens next month, Emily's adventures in both Paris and Rome are set to continue.

And English-born Lily, who was raised in LA, said Edinburgh would be perfect for the series. She said: "Scotland is such a special place for me, I love the complexity and variety of the country.
