Charity behind sale of historic castle yet to produce accounts
A CHARITY which sold a Highland clan's castle and estate claiming it was too skint to maintain it has yet to publish its latest set of accounts.
The Clan Donald Lands Trust (CLDT) justified the controversial £9.4million selloff in March by claiming it was "financially unsustainable" to hold on to historic Armadale Castle on Skye and its surrounding lands, despite protests.
