£1,000 to each family of naval personnel lost in rescue mission
A donor of Lankan descent who has lived in the United Kingdom for several years has made a generous contribution through the Sri Lanka High Commission in London to support the families of five Sri Lanka Navy officers who lost their lives during a cyclone related rescue operation in Chundikulam. The donor wishes to remain anonymous.
