CHELSEA had enormous expectations of Estevao Willian when the club brought the young Brazilian to Stamford Bridge 20 months ago.

Then, even though just 17, he was making a mockery of defenders, some twice his age, in Brazil on a regular basis.

After the deal with Palmeiras fans dug out clips of Estevao in action. They were immediately excited. But they had to wait over a year until he would be playing his football in West London due to the deal between the clubs.

Coincidentally, Estevao played his last match for the Brazilian club against his soon-to-be employers.
