TUI is flying high with revenues soaring by 7%

TUI’S latest update gave investors something to smile about as revenue rose 7% and profits grew even faster.

The travel giant delivered a solid third quarter, and the market responded positively to its upgraded profit guidance.

That is largely thanks to strong performances from its hotel and cruise businesses — smaller parts of the group, but higher margins and clearly gaining momentum.

TUI runs a broad travel operation, with its own airline, cruise ships, hotels and resorts, serving over 20 million customers across more than 180 destinations. Despite economic headwinds, people are still prioritising holidays. That has allowed TUI to raise prices while keeping rooms and cabins full - a good sign for profitability.
