Michael's dream showstopper with Dementia Choir strikes a chord
Sunday Express
|March 16, 2025
WEST END star Michael Ball says he wanted to perform on stage with the Dementia Choir to show how “music is the last thing people lose” when they have the brain disease.

The BBC Radio 2 presenter, 62, will be seen singing The Impossible Dream from the musical Man of La Mancha on TV this month with the group formed by Line of Duty actress Vicky McClure.
And the emotional performance was especially close to Michael’s heart, because of this personal experience of dealing with family members who had Alzheimer’s — including his uncle.
