Maro's marvels turn attention to clean sweep

LIONS skipper Maro Itoje insisted the job is not done despite the tourists clinching the Test series with victory over the Aussies at the MCG.

Itoje and his team could make history next weekend as the first Lions side to complete a clean sweep.

Itoje said: “Andy Farrell wants us to win everything. Absolutely delighted with the result tonight but we want to go again next week.”

Aussie boss Joe Schmidt was furious after the game, accusing the match officials of failing to protect players.

Schmidt reckoned Welsh flanker Jac Morgan hit Aussie replacement Carlo Tizzano with an illegal and dangerous clearout in the lead-up to Hugo Keenan's clinching try.
