PAUL WELLENS saluted teenager Harry Robertson as his St Helens side made it three wins out of three.

They overcame initial defiance by Wakefield to ease home and maintain their 100 per cent Super League start.

And centre Robertson battled back from his own dicey moment to put in another impressive display.

Saints led 8-0 when he was smashed by Isaiah Vagana, spilling the ball close to his own line. In the next set the imposing second row targeted Robertson, 19, again and charged over him to score.

Max Jowitt converted but Robertson's bruised ego soon responded.

Jowitt tried a long pass to unleash Tom Johnstone but the winger inexplicably spilled.

Johnstone was then slow to react to the loose ball and Robertson pounced, racing in from halfway for his sixth try in just four games this season.
