Leicester 0

Fulham 2

Dutchman Ruud van Nistelrooy was hit with chants of, ‘You don’t know what you’re doing’ as the hosts slipped to their seventh straight Premier League defeat.

Second-half strikes from Emile Smith Rowe and Adama Traore were greeted with groans from home supporters.

But that told only half the story as the former Manchester United and Real Madrid marksman found himself fixed in the sights of disgruntled punters.

After Smith Rowe had broken the deadlock early in the second half, Van Nistelrooy looked to his substitutes.

He chose to take off Bilal El Khannouss – the young Morocco international had been arguably Leicester’s best player – and that tipped the stadium over the edge.
