Fake map of Ukraine released by Moscow
Sunday Express
|September 28, 2025
A FAKE map of British, French and other NATO allies carving up Ukraine to plunder its resources has been released by Moscow in a fresh disinformation campaign.
The map and documents are aimed at sowing distrust among NATO commanders and fuelling Russian public resentment as Vladimir Putin tests the alliance's resolve.
The Kremlin has leaked the documents, said to have been extracted from French army HQ in Paris, by pro-Russian hackers Killnet.
Killnet has claimed responsibility for a series of cyber attacks on NATO nations since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
The documents claim that four nations - France, the UK, Poland and Romania - plan to divide Ukraine and its natural resources by deploying a force of 50,000 troops.
