Cruise's key role in star's Scientology case

TOM Cruise is "almost certain" to be called as a witness in a shocking civil court case against the controversial Church of Scientology, it is claimed.
The lawsuit has been filed by actress Leah Remini, 53, a former close friend of the Top Gun icon who was also a guest at his wedding to Katie Holmes in 2006.
Remini alleges that she was held at a Scientology centre for four months and "psychologically punished" for asking questions at Cruise's wedding about Scientology leader David Miscavige's apparently "missing" wife Shelly.
