Organised by charity volunteers, the walk on Saturday June 21 from 10.45am-1pm, at the Bracklinn Falls is for The Compassionate Friends, the organisation which supports those who have lost a child.

Its peer support is for parents bereaved of a child from one month old to an adult son or daughter, for any cause.

It also offers support to bereaved grandparents and adult siblings (aged 18 and over).

A TCF spokesperson said: "Bereaved parents, adults siblings and grandparents are warmly welcome to join this supportive walk.
