Bakery giant closes business after a year

American bakery giant Cinnabon has suddenly shut its Stirling shop, less than a year after it first opened, marking the end of its entire UK operation in a failed attempt to break into the British market.

The company had a branch at the city's Thistles Shopping Centre, which only opened its doors in November last year.
EG On the Move, the firm that partnered with Cinnabon to increase its footprint in the UK, announced its decision to close all its locations across the country
A spokesperson said: "EG On The Move has made the strategic decision to close all Cinnabon locations operated in the UK.
