£3m transformation of Stirling landmark marks the beginning of bright new future

A once-vacant landmark building in the heart of Stirling has been brought back to life following a £3million transformation.

Formerly, the Morton & Sons department store and latterly a Lloyds Bank administrative building, 45 King Street stood empty for over 25 years before being reimagined by NOMM Properties Ltd as mixed-use destination combining a boutique aparthotel and a co-working and private office space.

The extensive re-development comes at a pivotal moment for Stirling. Recent Ernst & Young research projects that the city will have the fastest-growing economy in Scotland over the next three years, while Lonely Planet has named Stirling as Scotland's top destination for 2025, praising its mix of heritage, innovation and natural beauty.
