Advocate Purnima Sharma, BJP spokesperson, J&K and former Deputy Mayor Jammu, on Saturday welcomed the historic inauguration of rail connectivity between Jammu and Kashmir as a beacon of hope and progress that will uplift the lives of the people and integrate the region firmly with the rest of India.

In a press statement issued here today, Adv. Purnima said, "The Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail line project is a remarkable achievement symbolizing India's resolve to overcome immense geographical and security challenges. The successful completion of engineering wonders such as the Chenab bridge and the Anji Khad cable-stayed bridge is a testimony to the nation's spirit and expertise."
