In a significant boost to the dairy sector in Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Dairy Farmers Association (JKDFA) and Rudra Progressive Farm inaugurated its fifth milk collection centre at Uttam Vihar, Patta Paloura in Jammu in just the past six months. The event was graced by Parvinder Singh Sudan, Director of Animal Husbandry Department (AHD), Jammu and Kashmir, who served as the Chief Guest.

Addressing the gathering, Sudan congratulated the JKDFA for its continuous efforts in empowering local dairy farmers and promoting self-reliance in the dairy sector:

"These centres collect milk directly from farmers, ensuring they receive fair prices. The milk is then processed locally into high-quality products like Ghee, Paneer, and the traditional Kaladi. This initiative is not just about milk collection; it's about value addition and strengthening the rural economy," he said.
