JAMMU: The Jammu Chapter of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) celebrated World Environment Day 2025 with great enthusiasm and commitment to environmental conservation.

The event was held in accordance with this year's global theme, "Beat Plastic Pollution." The highlight of the event was a special lecture delivered by Professor A.K Raina, former HOD Environmental Sciences, University of Jammu, explained that plastic, though useful, is non-biodegradable and releases harmful chemicals, posing serious risks to human health, wildlife, and the environment.
