IIM Jammu hosts panel discussion on 'Nation First' to inspire national pride, civic responsibility

In response to the shifting global landscape and emerging geopolitical challenges, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu organized a compelling panel discussion on the theme 'Nation First' on 20th May 2025 at the Mandapam Auditorium.

The event sought to foster a stronger sense of national identity, cultural pride, and civic duty among the academic community.

The session was graced by Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, The event also featured other eminent personalities including Prof. Shyam Narayan Lal, Chairperson, Media and Publication Committee and Anandam, IIM Jammu; Brigadier Neeraj Kumar Soni (Retd.) faculty, IIM Jammu, Dr. Rajesh Sikka, faculty, IIM Jammu, Brigadier Dr. Vijay Sagar Dheman; and Cmdr Kesavan Baskkaran, Chief Administrative Officer, IIM Jammu.

Prof. Shyam Narayan Lal, Chairperson, Media and Publication Committee and Anandam, IIM Jammu opened the session with a contextual introduction, followed by active engagement with students and participants who shared their views on patriotism and national service.
