With counting of votes in the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 under way on November 14, 2025, the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) crossed the majority mark in leads in early trends. The alliance led by the BJP and JD(U) looks set to form the government again.

The Mahagathbandhan, which includes the Congress and the RJD, is a distant second, while the Jan Suraaj Party is yet to open its account.

Early trends were available late morning, with clearer results likely by the afternoon. Final seat-wise outcomes are typically confirmed by the evening, depending on the pace of counting.

Counting is being conducted by 243 Returning Officers (ROs) in the presence of 243 Counting Observers, as well as the candidates or their agents. According to the ECI, this is the first time in recent history that no discrepancies or malpractices were found at any polling station after scrutiny, and no repolls have been recommended.
