SWANS ACE OUT UNTIL SPRING

VITOR Matos has confirmed striker Adam Idah will be sidelined for the next three months with a hamstring injury.

The Republic of Ireland international, who scored the winner against Wrexham in his last outing for Swansea City, picked up the problem in training ahead of the Boxing Day trip to Coventry City.

Matos had already said he expected the injury to be significant, and he has now confirmed Idah will be out until March - although he insists the issue isn’t as bad as first feared.

“The club will make a statement about it,” Matos told the BBC.
