Labour MSs tell PM: UK Government is failing Wales

LABOUR backbench Senedd members have written to the Prime Minister saying the UK Government is not only failing to deliver on promises to hand more powers to Wales but is “rolling back” on what is already devolved.
The letter is signed by 11 Senedd members including former government ministers Mick Antoniw, Lesley Griffiths, Hannah Blythyn and Lee Waters.
The letter reads: “In opposition we raised expectations of reform of the Barnett formula, devolution of rail infrastructure, policing and justice, and of the Crown Estate. Not only is the government not progressing these but it is rolling back the existing devolution settlement”
The letter is signed by Labour's Mick Antoniw, Hannah Blythyn, Alun Davies, John Griffiths, Lesley Griffiths, Julie Morgan, Jenny Rathbone, Rhianon Passmore, Carolyn Thomas, Mike Hedges and Lee Waters.
Their letter says the recent announcement of a Pride in Place programme has “caused considerable unhappiness’
