THE other night, I found myself at a dinner party that could have easily been titled The Death of Conversation.

Picture this: eight friends gathered around a beautifully set table, but instead of chatting, laughing, or even bickering over who forgot to bring the wine, they were all glued to their phones.
It was like watching a live-action version of The Walking Dead, but instead of zombies we had a bunch of tech-obsessed diners completely oblivious to the culinary masterpiece in front of them.
