Thousands turn out to say final farewell to Billy

THOUSANDS attended a funeral in Cardiff on Saturday morning to say a final farewell to a well-known member of the travelling community.

Billy Cassidy died on October 3
Billy Cassidy died on October 3. He was 54.
Mr Cassidy was part of a big family, as a dad-of-five and a granddad-of-seven, and he had 14 brothers and sisters.
The former builder and landscaper was buried at Ely’s Western Cemetery, with a ceremony at St Alban-on-the-Moors Church in Splott.
His funeral cortege included five Rolls-Royces, an American Cadillac and a stunt plane in the sky.
