Ospreys start a new chapter in Bridgend

OSPREYS start life at their temporary new home in Bridgend this afternoon looking for a first United Rugby Championship win of the season against Zebre (3pm).
-
Ospreys chose to redevelop St Helen's rather than relocate to Bridgend permanently from the Swansea.Com stadium.
However, Mark Jones’ side will play this season at the Brewery Field, while the Swansea venue is being redeveloped.
Ospreys played two fixtures at the home of Bridgend RFC last season but this time will host at least 11 games in the URC and European Challenge Cup.
They have played six previous league matches in Bridgend with four wins and two defeats. Zebre will be the first team to head to Bridgend for a competitive match this season to face an Ospreys side who lost their opening two league matches in South Africa.
“I'm looking forward to getting back down there with that sort of old crowd, where they’re right on top of you with the pitch proximity to the supporters,’ said head coach Jones.
