Safari park duo set for challenge

December 04, 2025

Two colleagues from the Longleat estate are swapping safari jeeps for running shoes as they prepare to tackle next year’s London Marathon to raise funds for African wildlife conservation.

Maisie Squire and Scott Ashman have secured places in the iconic 26.2-mile race, taking place on Sunday, April 26, to support Tusk, a charity working to protect biodiversity in more than 25 African countries.

Their run coincides with Longleat’s 60th anniversary celebrations, marking six decades since the opening of the UK’s first safari park outside of Africa in 1966.
