Somerset Guardian
|November 27, 2025
Pupils across the county pulled out all the stops to raise money for BBC Children in Need - with everything from pyjamas and Pudsey ears to piles of spare change used to support the nationwide cause.
-
Schools across the UK took part in the annual appeal on Friday, November 14, helping raise more than £45,000,000 in total for charities that support young people.
At Hayesdown First School in Frome, children turned up wearing colourful Pudsey-themed accessories such as socks, badges, hairbands and, of course, the iconic Pudsey ears.
